'Cut Carbon: Cut Cost' - Environmental Team host Masterclass on Carbon Reduction

Oct 13, 2009

Our environmental team hosted a masterclass at GovToday’s premier Heat & Energy event as part of their series of conferences focusing on Sustainable Operations for Government Estates called ‘Securing the Future’.

Nigel Pavey and his team’s masterclass titled ‘Cut Carbon, Cut Cost: Carbon Savings for Government Estates’ focused on carbon reduction approaches before renewable technologies; looking at cost saving measures in existing public buildings.

Nigel said ‘It was a great success with a lot of dialogue with leading public body figures we’ve already had interest from a number of public bodies and local authorities, so it’s been a worthwhile and positive event, which further strengthens the government’s SOGE target to reduce carbon emissions by 12.5 per cent by 2010’.
